Bridgepoint Group Adds Newbury Partners Team Amid Secondaries Market Expansion

07:23 AM EST, 12/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Bridgepoint Group (BPT.L) expects to add a Newbury Partners team to its organization by early 2026 as it expands into the secondaries market and strengthens its international alternatives platform. The agreement is anticipated to add $4.3 billion of assets under management upon closing, the British private equity company said Friday. The team will manage Newbury's latest fund and provide sub-advisory services to its predecessor funds, in exchange for a share of the latter's management fees. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
