Ford Motor Company is recalling more than 270,000 electric and hybrid vehicles in the US due to a problem with the parking function, which could cause the vehicle to roll over. According to reports, this recall involves some 2021-2026 F-150 Lightning electric pickups, 2024-2026 Mustang Mach-E, and 2025-2026 Maverick models. The problem is the integrated parking module, which may not lock in place when the driver is attached to the parking block. Ford said it will update the parking module software for affected vehicles free of charge.
