From a global perspective, the above report predicts that in 2025, global steel consumption will be 1,719 billion tons, down 1.8% year on year; global steel demand will be 1,736 billion tons in 2026, up 1.0% year on year. The report shows that in 2025, China's overall steel consumption declined due to insufficient domestic demand, particularly deep adjustments in the real estate market.
