CGN Power (01816): Huizhou Units 1 and 2 are in the commissioning phase

According to the Zhitong Finance App, CGN Power (01816) announced that CGN Huizhou Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of the company. The Huizhou Unit 1 and 2 units owned by CGN Huizhou Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. all use Hualong 1 technology. Full construction of the main nuclear reactor plant was carried out on December 26, 2019 and October 15, 2020, respectively. Full construction began. The original expected dates of commissioning were the second half of 2025 and the first half of 2026, respectively. The Group recently completed an overall assessment of Huizhou Unit 1 and Unit 2 construction. After careful consideration, the Group decided to adjust the unit construction plan to achieve high quality commissioning and ensure the safe and stable operation of the units after commissioning. The estimated commissioning time for Huizhou Units 1 and 2 was adjusted to the first half of 2026 and the second half of 2026, respectively. As of the date of this announcement, Huizhou Units 1 and 2 are in the commissioning phase.
