The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia issued a statement after the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting on December 22, saying that ASEAN foreign ministers welcome discussions on the resumption of the cease-fire and cessation of hostilities between Cambodia and Thailand. The Cambodian-Thai General Border Commission will hold a meeting on the 24th to discuss the implementation and inspection of the cease-fire. The statement said that the meeting urged Cambodia and Thailand to exercise maximum restraint and take immediate measures to stop all forms of hostilities.
