Relevant officials reported that China has thoroughly implemented the “14th Five-Year Plan” for Soil, Groundwater and Rural Ecological Environment Protection, and all indicators have been successfully completed. The country's soil environmental risks have been effectively controlled. The overall quality of groundwater environments has remained stable, and the rural habitat environment has improved markedly. In total, environmental remediation in more than 110,000 administrative villages has been completed, and the domestic sewage treatment rate in rural areas has increased dramatically.
