Shenzhen Energy (000027.SZ) plans to invest 6.822 billion yuan to build Shenzhen Energy Xilin Gol Xiuzhumuqinqi power grid side compressed air energy storage project

Zhitong Finance App News, Shenzhen Energy (000027.SZ) announced that Shenneng (Xiuzhumuqinqi) Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the project company), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, Shenneng North Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the project company) plans to invest in the construction of a grid-side compressed air energy storage project in Shenneng Xilin Gol Xiuzhumuqinqi power grid. The total investment for the project was RMB 6.822 billion.

According to the announcement, the project is grid-side energy storage, which can effectively promote the consumption of new energy sources such as wind power and photovoltaics. It is an indispensable “stabilizer” and “ballast stone” for the construction of new power systems. It helps the company to occupy a key node position in the Mengxi power system with new energy as the main body, and with the deepening of power market reform, its commercial value as a flexible adjustment resource will continue to be highlighted, in line with the company's development strategy and in line with the country's policy requirements to support the development of new energy storage technologies and industries.
