Recently, a key development in the Anshi semiconductor incident came to light: Wingtech has taken the initiative to open a dialogue with the “Anshi Semiconductor Custodian”. How is the communication going so far? At the shareholders' meeting on December 26, Wingtech responded that it was not convenient to disclose the progress of the talks in detail due to the obligation of confidentiality between the two parties. However, on the same day, the company cited a number of disputes between Anse Netherlands: interrupting the supply of wafers to Anshi China; issuing public letters that unjustifiably slandered the quality of Anshi China's products; and demanding that suppliers not cooperate with Anse China to block the company's normal operation, production, and supply from upstream in the industrial chain. In addition to negotiations, Wingtech is defending its rights through legal channels. The company stated that it has initiated a number of legal procedures in the Netherlands to fully protect the legitimate rights and interests of the company and all shareholders through judicial channels. According to the company, the Dutch government's intervention violates the Sino-Dutch Bilateral Investment Protection Agreement. Wingtech submitted a dispute notice on October 15. If the issue is not resolved within 6 months, the company may seek international arbitration on the matter, and the claim amount may be as high as 8 billion US dollars. In January 2026, the company will use a second hearing to reaffirm its position and actively defend its rights. Wingtech emphasized that the company insists that any real solution must be based on restoring Wingtech's full rights as a shareholder and legal control over Anshi. The company will take all legal measures to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the company and all shareholders to the greatest extent possible.
