According to a statement on December 28, Woodside Energy has signed a long-term sale agreement with Turkey's state-owned energy company Botash for the supply of liquefied natural gas. According to the agreement, Woodside Energy will supply a total of about 5.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas equivalent to Botash starting in 2030 for a maximum period of 9 years. This liquefied natural gas will mainly come from the Louisiana project being built by Woodside Energy in the US.
