On the morning of December 31, in Jiujiang, Jiangxi, the 740TEU pure electric open-top container ship, the Ningyuan Dianpeng, was launched in Hukou. This meant that the first two 10,000-ton pure electric smart seafarers to be launched in China were built. The Ningyuan Dianpeng is the “sister ship” of the Ningyuan Diankun. The large and small models are exactly the same, and it is also a 10,000-ton pure electric high-end smart sea ship. The ship has a total length of 127.8 meters, a width of 21.6 meters, a depth of 10.5 meters, and a maximum speed of 11.5 knots. They are all equipped with 740 standard 20-foot boxes and are equipped with 10 box-type batteries as power. They can not only be charged with high-voltage shore electricity, but also achieve rapid power exchange through hoisting box-type batteries. In addition to this, the ship is also equipped with a photovoltaic system to provide renewable energy support for ship operations, and truly achieve zero emissions throughout operation and docking.
