Toyo Scaling Up Humble Solar Panel Plant

Toyo Co. is scaling up its new flagship U.S. solar module manufacturing facility in Humble. Lovett Industrial is building a 567,140-square-foot facility at the location, called the Nexus North Logistics Park. Total rent during the ten-year lease term is about $46.68 million.

The company recently started production at the facility, which is designed to produce up to 1 gigawatt of solar modules per year, but it could grow to up to 3.2 GW annually.

Right now, Toyo only has one assembly line running. Once Toyo has five assembly lines at the facility, it could have up to 750 people working the manufacturing floor.
