The Zhitong Finance App learned that the 2026 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will officially kick off in Las Vegas on January 6. At that time, Nvidia head Huang Renxun and AMD CEO Su Zifeng will deliver important speeches. Asian technology forces such as Alibaba, Lenovo, Samsung Electronics, and LG will be showcased at CES, and the first “18A” chip, which concerns the fate of Intel's foundry business, will also be revealed at that time. The theme of CES 2026 continues to revolve around AI, but what has changed is that AI will move into the stage of implementation of the scenario. Outsiders agree that AI hardware applications are expected to become a top priority at this CES.

According to reports, Huang Renxun will give a keynote speech in the early morning of January 6, Beijing time this year. The agency expects that Hwang In-hoon will focus heavily on data centers, physical AI, and robotics in his keynote speech; looking ahead to 2026, Hwang In-hoon will also focus on discussing the latest developments in the Cosmos basic model platform in accelerating AI system development, and use this to explain autonomous technologies such as autonomous driving.

The release of RTX 50 Super series graphics cards (including RTX 5080 SUPER, etc.) expected by the market may be delayed due to high GDDR7 video memory prices and supply shortages. CEO Hwang In-hoon's speech will focus on “Physical AI” and promote the extension of AI computing power to robotics and industrial scenarios. Nvidia may shift its focus to high-margin products such as the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell with 96GB of video memory.

AMD plans to release several Ryzen 9000 series processors based on the Zen 5 architecture. Among them, the biggest highlight of the Ryzen 9 9950X3D is that it will use a dual 3D V-Cache design for the first time; the Ryzen 7 9850X3D is expected to maintain the design of a single CCD equipped with a 3D V-Cache, but its reference frequency will be 400 MHz higher than the 9800X3D. In addition to the X3D series, AMD is also planning to release Ryzen 9000G series APUs based on Zen 5 architecture at CES 2026, covering both Krackan Point and Strix Point architecture solutions, both for the AM5 platform. This will be the first time that AMD has launched an upgraded accelerated processor product line since the Ryzen 8000 G series was released in early 2024.

Additionally, Intel will release the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 (Panther Lake), which is expected to include about 14 SKUs. The flagship model Core Ultra X9 388H has 16 cores and a maximum frequency of 5.1 GHz. If widely supported by OEMs, it will help ease the market's doubts about the execution of its advanced process.

Intel's third-generation Core Ultra processor, codenamed Panther Lake, is the first client chip based on the Intel 18A process. It not only combines the high energy efficiency of Lunar Lake with the high performance of Arrow Lake, but also uses an XPU heterogeneous architecture to restructure AI computing power distribution logic, laying the core foundation for large-scale implementation of AI PC smart devices. Combining Lunar Lake's high energy efficiency with Arrow Lake's high performance and scalability, the new architecture's CPU and GPU performance has increased by 50% compared to the previous generation. With the latest NPU 5, the overall AI computing power of the platform can reach up to 180 TOPS, an increase of 50% over the previous generation.

In terms of AI PCs, the launch of new AI PCs this year will be led by two major chip manufacturers, Intel and AMD, and mainstream PC manufacturers such as Lenovo and Asus will focus on following up. The core revolves around next-generation AI processor and terminal form innovation. Taiwanese manufacturers such as Acer, MSI, and Gigabyte will also enter Las Vegas. Acer did not hold a press conference at CES 2026, but it will also release a series of new products, including AI PCs, e-sports, and PC peripherals; MSI is expected to announce AI PCs, e-sports and other related models.

In terms of AI glasses, there were more than 50 AI eyewear manufacturers at CES 2026. Leading manufacturers such as Thunderbird Innovation, Rokid, Imaging, VITURE, and XREAL all attended. In addition, up-and-coming brands such as Thunderbird, BleeQup, Halliday, and Glimmer Technology also began to show their prominence. Alibaba will present its first self-developed AI glasses, the Quark AI Glasses S1, at CES 2026.

In terms of AI robots, Tesla's third-generation humanoid robot Optimus-3 may debut at CES. Yushu Technology is said to bring the latest realistic interactive demonstration of humanoid robots at CES 2026. Additionally, Lingxi Smart will debut at CES 2026 to showcase its first blockbuster product, Aimoon Constellation AI Guardian Genie. Zhiyuan Robotics is also expected to exhibit star products such as AGIBOT X2 (AGIBOT X2), Expedition A2 (AGIBOT A2), Genie G2 (AGIBOT G2), and D1 (AGIBOT D1) at CES 2026.

Huatai Securities anticipates that this year's CES will be a key observation window for AI application implementation, focusing on end-side AI, industrial AI, physical AI, and automotive intelligence. The main investment line in the technology industry is moving from computing power infrastructure to a complete closed loop of technology from simulation and training to real-world deployment. Physical AI may become the core narrative connecting various sectors.
