KUALA LUMPUR: As CelcomDigi Bhd's integration efforts near completion, the telco posted a net profit of RM349.59mil in the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2025, more than double the previous year's bottomline of RM158.28mil.
The group reported quarterly revenue of RM3.45bil, rising from RM3.28bil in the same quarter in the previous year. It declared a fourth interim dividend of 3.6 sen per share, with ex-date on March 12, 2026, and payment on March 30, 2026.
For the full financial year, CelcomDigi's net profit rose to RM1.51bil from RM1.38bil in FY24. Revenue climbed to RM12.96bil from RM12.68bil previously.
Earnings per share in FY25 rose to 12.9 sen from 11.74 sen in the previous year.
Commenting on the 4Q and full-year results, CelcomDigi CEO Albern Murty said the expansion reflected the strength of the group's execution and commitment to delivering superior customer experiences.
"Every improvement made to our network, digital journeys, products and customer support is designed to create more value for our customers, and this continues to inspire our people to raise the bar in everything they do," he said in a statement.
"We also advanced the final phase of our integration, simplified how we operate,
and strengthened the core capabilities of the company. The operational efficiencies we achieved this year have created a more resilient organisation and strengthened our ability to invest where it matters most for our customers.”
Guiding for FY26, the group projects low single-digit growth in service revenue and earnings before interest and tax. It also anticipates a capex intensity of 12-13%.
In FY25, the group's postpaid segment grew 4.1% year-on-year (y-o-y) to RM4.36bil with a subscriber increase of 5.3% y-o-y to 6.09 million due to the increased adoption of CelcomDigi One convergence plans.
Revenue in the prepaid segment was 4.6% lower y-o-y at RM4.21bil although the group reported a stronger subscriber mix, resulting in a subscriber base of 12.28 million.
Home and fibre recorded a 40.2% y-o-y leap in revenue to RM258mil, with a 52.4% y-o-y jump in subscribers to 285,000, due to increased demand for fibre, FWA,high-speed connectivity solutions, and higher-value bundles.
The enterprise segment saw a shift in product mix, with enterprise solutions growing 24.3% y-o-y and enterprise mobile revenue contracting 9.1% y-o-y, mainly driven by an industry-wide decline in bulk SMS.
According to the group, its network modernisation and integration has progressed to more than 90% completion with higher service quality and customer experience in upgraded areas.
IT consolidation is 80% complete, while the final phases of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems are underway and progressing as planned toward full completion in early 2027.
On the retail front, the group reported that over 60 CelcomDigi stores have been modernised, while the nationwide refresh of over 300 exclusive partner stores is two-thirds complete.
