ETF issuer WisdomTree Inc (NYSE:WT) has partnered with Halo Investing to launch a new income-focused investment strategy aimed at financial advisors seeking yield with built-in downside protection.
The firms announced the Halo-WisdomTree Structured Income Strategy, a defined outcome separately managed account (SMA) that combines WisdomTree's model portfolio framework with Halo's structured note capabilities.

The strategy is designed to generate income, enhance risk-adjusted returns and provide buffered protection against market declines.
The collaboration expands the firm's solutions platform at a time when investors are increasingly seeking income and more resilient portfolio outcomes.
The company believes the strategy is intended to help advisors pursue more consistent results while managing risk, while supporting WisdomTree's broader effort to scale its advisory solutions business.
WisdomTree, best known for its ETF lineup, oversees roughly $159 billion in global exchange-traded products and tokenized assets, reflecting steady inflows across its product suite.
Several of the firm's ETFs have attracted strong investor interest, including the WisdomTree U.S. Quality Dividend Growth Fund (NASDAQ:DGRW), the WisdomTree Emerging Markets High Dividend Fund (NYSE:DEM) and the WisdomTree Japan Hedged Equity Fund (NYSE:DXJ)—funds that focus on dividend growth, emerging-market income and currency-hedged international exposure, respectively.
The new SMA strategy signals the firm's push to extend those ETF capabilities into broader portfolio solutions for financial advisors.
Defined outcome strategies have become one of the fastest-growing areas in wealth management as advisors look for tools that allow clients to participate in equity markets while limiting downside risk.
The new strategy blends WisdomTree's asset allocation expertise with income-focused structured notes issued through Halo. The portfolio is recalibrated quarterly and invests across U.S., international and emerging market equities.
Dennis Monohan, head of investment solutions at Halo, said the offering aims to help advisors generate income while managing equity exposure, combining structured product innovation with institutional portfolio construction.
The launch adds to WisdomTree's growing suite of advisor tools beyond ETFs, including model portfolios, SMA strategies and private asset exposure.
The firm has also been expanding its presence in the SMA market, including a recent collaboration with Quorus Inc. to deliver its investment strategies in a tax-efficient SMA format.
