FTAI Aviation, Goldman Sachs And Lam Research: CNBC's 'Final Trades'

On CNBC's “Halftime Report Final Trades,” Stephen Weiss, chief investment officer and managing partner of Short Hills Capital Partners, named FTAI Aviation Ltd. (NASDAQ:FTAI) as his final trade.

According to recent news, FTAI Aviation announced leadership changes on March 6. Nicholas McAleese has been appointed chief financial officer, and Michael Hazan chief accounting officer, effective immediately.

Jason Snipe, founder and chief investment officer of Odyssey Capital Advisors, said he likes The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE:GS).

Supporting his view, J.P. Morgan analyst Kian Abouhossein, on Tuesday, raised the price target on the stock from $815 to $826.

Shannon Saccocia, chief investment officer of NB Private Wealth, picked State Street SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF (NYSE:KRE).

Joseph Terranova, senior managing director, Virtus Investment Partners, recommended Lam Research Corporation (NASDAQ:LRCX).

On the earnings front, Lam Research, on Jan. 28, reported second-quarter earnings of $1.27 per share, which beat the Street estimate of $1.17 by 8.45%, according to Benzinga Pro. Quarterly revenue of $5.35 billion beat the analyst consensus estimate of $5.24 billion and was up from $4.38 billion from the same period last year.

Price Action:

  • FTAI Aviation shares fell 4.3% to close at $259.91 on Wednesday.
  • Goldman Sachs shares fell 1.2% to close at $823.76 during the session.
  • State Street SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF fell 1.1% on Wednesday.
  • Lam Research shares gained 1.7% to close at $218.87.
