On March 26, China and Nigeria signed the “Framework Agreement on Joint Economic Development Partnership between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”. This is a framework agreement signed between China and the 34th African country. The Framework Agreement stipulates that the two sides will jointly promote Nigeria's manufacturing development and agricultural transformation and upgrading, enhance the competitiveness of the global market, help it better integrate into the global economy, and conduct negotiations in areas such as liberalizing and facilitating trade in goods and services, strengthening green development cooperation, investment and digital trade.
