Vinci Unit-led Consortium Bags EUR192 Million Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade Contract

12:04 AM EDT, 04/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- A consortium led by Vinci's (DG.PA) construction unit secured a 192 million-euro contract to upgrade the central wastewater treatment plant in Prague, Czech Republic. The contract covers the demolition and reconstruction of 40 structures, as well as refitting all facilities with new water treatment technologies, according to a Thursday release. The project, set to begin in October, will be completed in 43 months. The consortium includes French concessions and construction company's construction units SMP Vodohospodářské stavby, SMP Construction, Arko Technology, Průmstav, and Stavby mostů, as well as Veolia Environnement's (VIE.PA) Česká voda-Memsep, and Hochtief (HOT.F) subsidiaries Hochtief CZ and Hochtief Infrastructure.
