Bank of America Securities quoted customer capital flow data for the week ending June 5, saying that as the S&P 500 index recorded its biggest weekly decline since April 2025, the bank's clients' withdrawal from US technology stocks reached a record high last week. In terms of market capitalization, the scale of capital outflows from technology stocks during the week hit a record high since the beginning of 2014. The scale of individual stock sell-offs also reached a record high. It added: “Capital outflows were concentrated entirely on large cap stocks, and customers bought small and medium capitalization stocks instead.”
