The treatment is an oral miR-124 enhancer that was tested in patients who did not achieve clinical response following induction treatment or who experienced disease relapse during the re-randomized maintenance trial, according to a Monday release. The topline results were observed in the maintenance program for patients with moderate to severely active ulcerative colitis.
