Shisi Pharmaceutical Group (02005): Mesobamol tablets (0.5g) obtained drug production registration approval

Zhitong Finance App News, Shisi Pharmaceutical Group (02005) issued an announcement. The Group is the first domestic company to obtain drug production registration approval from the China National Drug Administration (CFDA) for methopamol tablets (0.5g). It is a Class 3 chemical drug, which is considered to have passed the consistency evaluation. Mesobamol tablets are a muscle relaxant, mainly used for conditions such as joint muscle sprains, lumbar strain, and sciatica.

The Group's resorcinol has been approved by the State Drug Administration and registered as an active ingredient for use in marketed formulations. Recombinol is mainly used for (i) acute spasmodic pain caused by digestive system and biliary tract dysfunction; (ii) acute spasmodic urethral, bladder, and renal colic; and (iii) gynecological spasmodic pain. As stated in our announcement dated August 27, 2024, the Group has obtained drug production registration approval for resorcinol injections from the State Drug Administration.
