Chevron Australia announced on July 10 that it has signed a long-term gas sales and purchase agreement with Australian energy company Alinta Energy to supply natural gas from its Western Australian gas asset portfolio. According to the agreement, Chevron will supply 46 petabytes of natural gas to Alinta Energy over five years from July 2027. The gas source will come from Chevron's Gorgon and Wheatstone LNG project interests and the Northwest Continental Shelf project.
