Recently, the “Guangdong Information and Communications Industry “15th Five-Year Plan” was publicly solicited for comments. Among them, it was mentioned that basic telecommunications enterprises and others are supported to actively participate in R&D projects in key areas of the province, relying on strategic scientific and technological forces and leading enterprises such as the Pengcheng National Laboratory to help the information and communication industry in Guangdong Province establish and improve the full-process innovation ecosystem, accelerate technical research in key frontier fields such as 6G, optical communication, satellite communication, quantum communication, and intelligent communication, and strengthen research on new network systems such as space-space integration and integrated sensing. The focus is on cultivating and developing a new 6G circuit, and vigorously promoting the development and industrialization of core devices such as next-generation digital baseband chips, RF front-end chips, 6G modules, and next-generation network communication equipment. Conduct research on applied technologies such as the integration of quantum cryptography and information communication networks, quantum computing and classical computing, and break through key technologies such as quantum computing, quantum materials, quantum precision measurement, quantum security, and key core equipment.
