Platinum catalysts are the core key materials supporting modern energy, chemical, environmental and other industries. Recently, Professor Hu Wenbin's team from Tianjin University proposed a “transient assembly” strategy, developed millisecond periodic thermal pulse technology, achieved ultra-fast synthesis and precise control of platinum group metal core-shell catalysts, and opened up a new technical path for accurate atomic-level preparation of platinum group catalysts. The relevant results were published online in the international academic journal “Science” on July 10, Beijing time.
