The Hong Kong Government re-appoints Chan Kam Wing as Chairman of the Consumer Council for a two-year term

The Zhitong Finance App learned that on July 10, the Hong Kong Government announced the re-appointment of Chen Jinrong as Chairman of the Consumer Council (Consumer Council) for a term of two years, effective from July 15, 2026.

A Hong Kong government spokesman said that Mr. Chan Kam Wing has been the Chairman of the Consumer Council since July 2022, and has been actively leading the Consumer Council to advance various tasks to protect consumers' rights and interests, and put forward many valuable opinions. I believe he will continue to lead the Consumer Council and further strengthen the work of protecting consumers.
