Sinopec Southwest Petroleum Administration Co., Ltd. said that China's “East Sichuan Gas Delivery” gas field has produced more than 40 billion cubic meters of natural gas, and has accumulated stable gas supply to more than 70 cities along the Yangtze River, marking the continuous improvement of China's ultra-deep complex gas reservoir development capacity. The Yuanba gas field is located in Cangxi County and Langzhong City in the northeastern Sichuan Basin. The average depth is about 7,000 meters, and the total depth of the horizontal well is 8,200 meters. It has characteristics such as ultra-deep, high temperature, high pressure, and high sulfur content. Since it was fully completed and put into operation at the end of 2016, the Yuanba gas field has developed an annual production capacity of 4 billion cubic meters of raw gas, 3.4 billion cubic meters of purified gas, and 300,000 tons of sulfur. It is an important gas source for the “East Sichuan Gas Delivery” project. Since this year, the Southwest Petroleum Administration of Sinopec has continued to deepen lean management of gas fields, implemented 4 development and adjustment wells, deployed 2 rolling evaluation wells, and 3 development and adjustment wells. The natural gas production in the Yuanba gas field has remained stable at over 11 million cubic meters per day.
