ICBC (01398) completes issuance of 2026 unfixed term capital bonds (third instalment) (Bond Connect)

According to the Zhitong Finance App, ICBC (01398) issued an announcement that the Bank's 2026 unfixed term capital bonds (third instalment) (Bond Connect) (current bonds) have recently been issued in the national interbank bond market.

The current bond was recorded on July 8, 2026, and the issuance was completed on July 10, 2026. The issuance scale of the current bond is RMB 20 billion. The coupon interest rate for the first 5 years is 1.89%, adjusted every 5 years, and the issuer's conditional redemption right is attached to every interest payment date after the 5th year.

The funds raised in this issue will be used to supplement the Bank's other Tier 1 capital in accordance with applicable laws and the approval of the competent authorities.
