In response to the impact of typhoon “Bawe”, the Ministry of Natural Resources initiated a Level III geological disaster prevention response to Zhejiang and Fujian, and dispatched a task force to the site to guide the defense and response work. According to the meteorological department's forecast, due to the impact of typhoon “Bawe” No. 9 of this year, the cumulative rainfall in parts of southern Zhejiang and northeastern Fujian reached 150 to 300 mm from July 10 to 13, and 500 to 600 mm in southeastern Zhejiang and northeastern Fujian. The Geological Hazards Technical Guidance Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources organized expert research and judgment that due to the typhoon's rainfall process, there is a high risk of geological disasters occurring in the above regions. Therefore, Zhejiang and Fujian initiated a Level III geological disaster prevention response and dispatched task forces to Zhejiang and Fujian to guide the defense and response work on site.
