Typhoon No. 9 of this year, “Bawe,” is approaching the southeast coast of our country. The Fujian Meteorological Observatory upgraded the “typhoon warning” to level 2 at 16:30 on July 10. According to relevant regulations, the Fujian Provincial Defense Bureau upgraded the emergency response to typhoon prevention to level 2 at 16:30 on the 10th. Meteorological monitoring shows that at 16:00 on the 10th, the center of typhoon “Bawe” was about 850 kilometers southeast of the border between Zhejiang and Fujian. It had already entered the Fujian Tropical Cyclone Warning Zone, with a maximum wind level of 13 near the center. It is expected that “Bawe” will move northwest at a speed of about 20 kilometers per hour and gradually approach the coast of Fujian and Zhejiang. It will land along the coast from Xiapu in Fujian to Wenling in Zhejiang in the early morning of the 12th, and continue to move northwest after landing.
