The pre-market opening price of SK Hynix American Depositary Receipts was estimated at $180 per share, up 21% from the issue price of $149. A total of 177.9 million American Depositary Receipts were issued this time, raising about US$265 billion for the South Korean memory chip company. Each American Depositary Receipt corresponds to one-tenth of a common stock listed in Seoul. Bank of America, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs Group, and J.P. Morgan Chase acted as lead underwriters for the offering; Cantor Fitzgerald, Mizuho Financial Group, Needham, Royal Bank of Canada, Rosenblatt Securities, Stafell Finance, Wade Bush Securities, William Blair, and Nomura Wolf Alliance acted as co-underwriters. The deposit certificate will be forward-issued on the NASDAQ Global Select Market later this Friday, under the stock code SKHYV; the code will be changed to SKHY after officially entering the regular trading period on July 13.
