A general station reporter learned on the 10th local time that at around 17:00 on the same day, a fire broke out at a small refinery in Poledokhtar in the western Iranian province of Lorestan. Heavy smoke rose from the scene. Due to the large amount of flammable materials stored at the site, the fire was ferocious, making it extremely difficult to extinguish the fire soon after it occurred. Rescuers were unable to reach the core area of the fire for the first few hours. Currently, firefighters and emergency rescue teams are still dealing with it at the scene, and the fire extinguishing work is continuing.
