According to information released by the meteorological department, due to the impact of the southwest monsoon and typhoon “Bawe,” there were heavy to torrential rains in East China, North China, and the Sichuan Basin, as well as heavy local torrential rain. On July 12, a total of 52 trains were suspended at Chongqing Station of the Chengdu Bureau of China Railway to ensure the safety of train operation and passenger travel. The Chongqing Railway Station of the Chengdu Bureau of China Railway temporarily suspended trains passing through the Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Rail, the Shanghai-Kunming High Speed Rail, and the Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Line, mainly trains from Chongqing to Shanghai Hongqiao, Hangzhou East, Zhangjiagang, Kunshan, Fuzhou South, and Nanjing South. Among them, there are 36 trains from Chongqing North Railway Station, 11 from Chongqing West Railway Station, and 5 from Chongqing East Railway Station.
