On July 12, local time, Ukrainian President Zelensky announced a comprehensive adjustment of the country's political strategy to enhance the country's governance capacity and security resilience through a series of measures such as restructuring the government and law enforcement agencies, optimizing diplomatic layout, and strengthening defense construction and people's livelihood security. Zelensky said that Ukraine is adjusting the country's overall political strategy. As a core element of the new strategy, Ukraine will implement a dedicated responsibility mechanism for each key direction of diplomacy. Its new diplomatic layout mainly includes the following elements: deepening security cooperation with the US, advancing bilateral defense cooperation matters such as production licenses for the “Patriot” missile system; helping to build European anti-missile projects; speeding up the EU's accession process and deepening cooperation in various fields with the EU in all aspects; repairing bilateral relations with neighboring countries such as Poland and Hungary; expanding cooperation with the Middle East, the Gulf region and major international organizations to seek support from more international forces to promote the political settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and ensure the country's economic and security development. Zelensky revealed that details of the relevant reforms have been discussed with Ukrainian Prime Minister Sveritenko. Ukraine is about to begin a new round of personnel adjustments, and the leadership of the cabinet, government departments, and law enforcement agencies will be renewed. Preliminary discussions on the relevant reform plans have now been completed.
