The Korean court partially approved Samsung Electronics' request to ban two former NAND flash memory design employees from working at SK Hynix. The Suwon District Court ordered two former Samsung employees not to work for SK Hynix and its affiliates until April 30, 2027. Samsung is seeking to enforce a two-year non-compete agreement; the court shortened the period to 18 months. The court stated that the NAND flash memory design technology involved is the core technology of the country. The two employees worked in Samsung's memory department for about 10-11 years and moved to SK Hynix in February of this year.
