The three major indices fell collectively in early trading. As of midday trading, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Index fell 1.54%, the Shenzhen Securities Index fell 2.61%, the GEM Index fell 2.38%, the Beijing Stock Exchange 50 fell 3.9%, and the Science and Technology Innovation 50 Index fell 1.84%. The total market turnover was 186.4.2 billion yuan, down from the previous day's decline of 318 billion yuan, and the total market volume fell by more than 4,500 individual stocks. In terms of sector topics, the traditional Chinese medicine, banking, gas, pharmaceutical e-commerce, and fentanyl sectors registered the highest gains; military electronics, Chinese shipping, cultivating diamonds, film and television, and commercial space sectors registered the highest declines. On the market, the Chinese medicine sector opened low and moved high, with Longshen Rongfa and Tianmu Pharmaceutical rising and falling, while Shanghai Kaibao, Biotech Valley, and Jiuzhitang registered the highest gains. The banking sector fluctuated higher. Bank of Suzhou rose more than 6% in the intraday period, while Bank of Ningbo, Bank of Xiamen, and China Construction Bank rose one after another. The gas sector also showed some performance. Water to gas and Jiufeng Energy rose and stopped, while Tianhou Energy, Xinao Shares, and Shenzhen Gas had the highest gains. The cultivating diamond sector continued to decline. The Yellow River Cyclone and Boyun New Materials fell to a standstill, and Huifeng Diamond, Sifangda, and Wald had the highest declines. The commercial space sector was deeply adjusted. More than 10 stocks, including Aerospace Development, Shanghai Port, Western Materials, Shanghai Shanghai Engineering, Excalibur Co., Ltd., and Tongyu Communications, fell to a halt. Xinwei Communications, Denke Blue Sky, and Mengsheng Electronics had the highest declines. The PCB concept sector also showed weakness. Many stocks such as Dazu Laser, Jin'an Guoji, and Antai Technology fell to a standstill, while Huitian New Materials and Jinlu Electronics had the highest declines.
