According to people familiar with the matter, Germany funded Ukraine to purchase 50,000 attack drones. Some of these drones have already been delivered, and the rest will be delivered within this year. Reuters quoted an anonymous source on the 12th as reporting that the above order involved a “Mozu” first-person attack drone manufactured by the Ukrainian “Skyfall” drone company. The model is equipped with software developed by the US defense company Atrion, which can independently track and hit mobile targets during the final stage of the flight. Lorenz Meyer, CEO of Atrion, confirmed the size of the order, saying that the order, totaling around 90 million euros, was funded by a European country. He told Reuters that the order has been partially delivered and the rest will be delivered within this year. The “Skyfall” drone company confirmed that Germany funded the order, but did not comment on the details. Both the German and Ukrainian defense ministries declined to comment.
