The increase was 0.08%; the year-on-year decline was 2.82%, and the decline was 0.35 percentage points narrower than in May. Cao Jingjing, general manager of the Index Research Department of the China Index Research Institute, believes that the concentration of rental demand into the market during the college graduation season in June led to a marked increase in housing rental market activity in key cities, and owners' listing price expectations were repaired accordingly.
