Orient Overseas International (00316): Orient Overseas's route revenue and total cargo volume increased by 5.5% and 5.2% year-on-year in the first half of the year

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Dongfang Overseas International (00316) released an unaudited operating summary for the 2nd quarter ended June 30, 2026. The route revenue for the second quarter ending June 30, 2026 increased 19.8% over the same period last year to US$2,537 billion. Total cargo volume increased by 8.8%, and carrying capacity increased by 6.3%. The overall carrying rate increased by 1.9% compared to the same period in 2025, and the overall average route revenue per TEU increased 10.1% compared to the second quarter of last year.

Route revenue and total cargo volume for the first six months ending June 30, 2026 increased by 5.5% and 5.2%, respectively, compared with the same period last year. The carrying capacity increased by 5.3%, the overall carrying rate decreased by 0.1% compared to the same period in 2025, and the overall average route revenue per TEU increased by 0.2% compared to the same period last year.
