The Zhitong Finance App learned that Botai Auto Union (02889) rose more than 8% in the intraday period. As of press release, it had risen 7.76% to HK$143.2, with a turnover of HK$449.647 million.

According to news, recently, Botai Auto Union continues to lay out the optical communication industry chain, plans to acquire optoelectronic chip companies, and also work with Fuyao University of Science and Technology to develop silicon and electro-optical modulation materials. The company's business covers automotive optical communication and AI computing power optical chips, benefiting from optical modules and silicon light industry trends, and opening up a new growth track outside of smart cockpits.

Pacific Securities pointed out that the company is collaborating on high-computing cockpits, AI boxes, end-side model deployment, and in-vehicle communication architectures. In addition, Botai is also leading the way in building an in-vehicle token economic integration hub and unified settlement center, and launching in-vehicle AI agents and other applications.
