Walmart is restructuring the top management of its core US business, and the retail giant's new CEO is still building his own management team. According to an internal memorandum, Walmart's US Chief Operating Officer Kieran Shanahan will leave office this week. The successor to Kieran Shanahan, 45, is Kyle Kinnard, the current chief operating officer of Walmart's international business. The Bentonville, Arkansas-based company has left a number of senior executives in recent months, including Tom Ward, the chief operating officer of Walmart's warehouse member business Sam's Club, and Cedric Clark, head of Walmart's US store operations. The latter left in May, and the position is still vacant.
