According to the “Liaoning Release”, the “Liaoning Provincial Industrial Development and Safety New Industrialization Institute”, which was jointly built by the Liaoning Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the University of Liaoning, was recently inaugurated at the University of Liaoning with the aim of building an industrial empowerment platform for “government, industry, academia, research and financial services” to coordinate industrial development and safety, and help build a “2211” industrial system with Liaoning characteristics. The new Institute of Industrial Chemistry will give full play to the multidisciplinary research advantages of Liaoning University and the leading role of industrial policy resources of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, focus on the two main lines of industrial chain supply chain risk prevention and control and development of manufacturing application scenarios, focusing on the five major directions of think tank construction, joint scientific research, full-chain industrial services, industrial chain supply chain risk monitoring, and complex talent training. According to reports, the Institute of New Industrial Chemistry will establish three special research institutes: the Industrial Safety Research Office, the Industrial Investment Analysis Office, and the Scenario Innovation Development Office.
