The turnover of the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets was about 20,934 billion yuan, an increase of about 33.501 billion yuan compared to the previous trading day. As of midday trading, 2,603 stocks had risen and 2,804 stocks had declined in the entire market, of which 46 had risen or stopped and 24 had fallen to a halt.
