South Korea's small-cap Kosdaq index rose 3.4% at one point. Recently, the wave of foreign sell-offs has abated, and overseas investors have resumed net purchases of Korea's Kospi Index shares. Net foreign purchases of South Korean stocks rose to the highest level since the beginning of May on Wednesday.
