12:11 AM EDT, 07/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- GSK (GSK.L) received the US Food and Drug Administration's approval for Jideytro to treat adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic ROS1-positive non-small cell lung cancer. Jideytro, or zidesamtinib, is indicated for patients who received a prior ROS1 kinase inhibitor, according to a Wednesday release. The positive regulatory decision was based on results from the Arros-1 phase 1/2 clinical trial. The London-listed pharmaceutical giant said the approval, which was issued before the US FDA's Sept. 18 target action date, marks its first in lung cancer.
