Saudi Arabia, US Sign Long-term Peaceful Nuclear Partnership

The so-called 123 agreement, together with a bilateral safeguards deal, is intended to support mutual expertise sharing and deepen diplomatic relations, while adhering to international standards for nuclear safety, security and non-proliferation, according to the countries' separate Wednesday releases. The pact will now be submitted to the US Congress for review.
