Citigroup (C.US) hires five senior technology investment bankers to expand semiconductor, AI and software businesses

The Zhitong Finance App learned that Citigroup (C.US) is recruiting 5 senior investment bankers in the US to expand its business and compete for global market share. According to an internal memorandum, all new members will join Citi as managing directors.

Specifically, Chris Grosse will join Citi from Bank of America, responsible for business coverage in the fields of payments, fintech, and digital assets, and will work in New York in September; Florian Plath will join Citigroup from J.P. Morgan in August, focusing on software and semiconductor companies; Dhruv Fotadar will join Citibank from J.P. Morgan in August, and will be responsible for business coverage of enterprise infrastructure customers in the field of software and artificial intelligence; and Anand Agarwal will join Citi from J.P. Morgan in August, focusing on semiconductors and Artificial intelligence company; Josh Sheets will join Citibank from UBS Group to strengthen Citi's business coverage in the software field.
