Watson Biotech announced that the bivalent human papillomavirus vaccine produced by its subsidiary Yuxi Zerun Biotechnology Co., Ltd. recently received a “Drug Registration Certificate” issued by the Tanzanian Drug and Medical Device Administration, and the Xillin bottle product regulations have obtained marketing approval in Tanzania. The vaccine is mainly used to prevent related diseases caused by high-risk HPV types 16 and 18, such as cervical cancer. It was officially launched in 2022 and pre-certified by the World Health Organization in August 2024.
