ROSEMONT, Ill., July 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- During Sarcoma Awareness Month, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) is urging patients not to ignore persistent pain, swelling or unexplained lumps, symptoms that can sometimes signal sarcoma, a rare and often misdiagnosed cancer affecting the bones and soft tissue.
