The China-ASEAN Foreign Ministers Joint Statement on Addressing the Impact of the Evolution of the Middle East Situation on the Region and Strengthening Regional Energy Cooperation: Agreed to carry out China-ASEAN energy policy exchanges and practical cooperation, and to this end, establish a cooperation mechanism through consensus discussions between the two sides to strengthen regional energy security and resilience, and help the region's sustainable development. We will further strengthen cooperation in regional power grid connectivity, energy supply chains, clean, low-carbon and renewable energy, energy technology innovation, civil nuclear energy and other related fields, support the ASEAN Energy Cooperation Action Plan, and explore opportunities for cooperation in China's global development initiatives and joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative. Under the premise of consensus, we will also make proper use of relevant cooperation initiatives, such as the partnership between the ASEAN Energy Center and the China-ASEAN Clean Energy Cooperation Center, to mobilize public and private financing resources, including financing mechanisms supported by partners such as ASEAN-related institutions, multilateral development banks, international financial institutions, and the China-ASEAN Investment Cooperation Fund.
