Among them, it was mentioned that on July 25, the Import and Export Food Safety Bureau of the General Administration of Customs was concerned that the Macao SAR government issued a notice stating that a batch of samples of “Royal Mezuli No. 1 infant formula” had been found to have a lead content exceeding Macau's food safety standards. The net content of the product involved was 800 grams, batch number 1W07KPJ, and the effective date was 30/09/2027. However, mainland China has yet to detect the products involved being imported through general trade channels. In response, on July 27, a company statement provided to Interface News by Fisselan Food Trading Co., Ltd., the operator of the “Royal Meisuli” brand, showed that after receiving the notice, Fischland Hong Kong Co., Ltd. confirmed and tested the same batch of products in a third-party laboratory. The final test results and conclusion were that the lead content of the products did not exceed the standard and fully complied with Macau's food safety standards. Fishland also said it plans to communicate with relevant departments in Macau on July 27 and further disclose the results.
