Recently, the Luanfa Solar PV Project, the first complementary water and light project in Zambia constructed by China Power Construction, obtained a handover certificate, marking the full completion of the project construction tasks. The project makes full use of the basic conditions of existing hydropower plants, organically combines solar power generation with hydropower regulation capabilities, and realizes multi-energy collaboration through the “prioritization of photovoltaics and hydropower regulation”. It is the first new energy project in Zambia to be built using a complementary model of water and light.
